Judicial Review and Administrative Law
We advise and represent individuals and companies affected by decisions of public authorities, statutory bodies and administrative decision-makers.
Make an enquiryWhat we do
Our services include:
- assessment of the legality of administrative decisions
- applications for leave to commence judicial review
- certiorari, mandamus, prohibition and declaratory relief
- procedural fairness and natural justice challenges
- appeals and related proceedings involving statutory powers
Applications for judicial review are subject to strict procedural requirements and time limits. Early legal advice should therefore be obtained where a public decision is intended to be challenged.

Before you write
Time limits apply
Most claims must be brought within a fixed period, and a claim brought late is usually lost however strong it is. If something has already happened, it is better to ask early than to wait.
Do not send documents yet
Before the Firm can act, it must carry out a conflict check. Tell us the names of the parties and the outline of the matter; keep the documents until we have confirmed we can take it on.

Set out what happened and when, in your own words, together with the names of the other parties involved.
